Terms and Conditions

1. General Provisions

County Chauffeurs, with its registered office at Office 232, 160 London Road, Barking, London, England, IG11 8BB, operates an online platform and mobile applications (collectively referred to as “County Chauffeurs Tools”) to facilitate transportation bookings. These services include arranging transportation for users by independent ride service providers (“Transportation Service Providers” or “TSPs”). County Chauffeurs only acts as an intermediary and does not provide transportation services directly.

These Terms and Conditions (“T&Cs”) govern all agreements between County Chauffeurs and its users regarding the arrangement of transportation services. They also outline users’ rights to claim services directly from the assigned TSP. Any conflicting terms from users are invalid unless explicitly accepted in writing by County Chauffeurs.

2. Contractual Relationship and Contract Conclusion

2.1 Contractual Relationship

County Chauffeurs does not provide transportation services itself or through third-party agents. It facilitates a user’s right to receive transportation services directly from a TSP. For this, County Chauffeurs enters into agreements with TSPs on its behalf, creating a “contract for the benefit of third parties.”

Users can directly claim transportation services and related rights from the TSP under this arrangement. The user pays County Chauffeurs for facilitating the service and compensates the TSP for transportation.

2.2 Conclusion of Contract

By submitting a booking request via County Chauffeurs Tools or over the phone, users offer to enter a business service contract. County Chauffeurs acknowledges receipt of the request through an email confirmation but does not confirm the booking at this stage.

The business service contract is concluded only after County Chauffeurs sends a separate email confirmation (“booking confirmation”). Users then gain the right to claim the transportation service directly from the assigned TSP.

3. User Registration Obligations

Users must ensure that all information provided during registration or bookings is complete and accurate. Automated registrations are prohibited.

4. Transportation Contract Provisions

4.1 Ride Types and Changes

Users may select from various ride types depending on local availability:

  • Transfer rides
  • Long-distance rides (over 200 km)
  • On-demand rides (“chauffeur hailing”)
  • Hourly bookings

Changes to rides after booking may incur additional charges as outlined in Section 5.

4.2 Pickup Time Adjustments

The agreed pickup time is as stated in the booking confirmation. For airport or train station pickups, the time may adjust if users provide accurate flight or train details, allowing County Chauffeurs to track delays.

4.3 Vehicle Class and Model

Available vehicle classes may include “Business Class,” “Business Van/SUV,” “First Class,” or similar categories. Vehicle images are illustrative only, and specific models are not guaranteed. Upgrades to a higher class may be provided at no extra cost, based on availability.

5. Pricing and Payment

5.1 General Principles

The price in the booking confirmation covers the agreed service, based on factors like vehicle class, route, and additional requests (e.g., child seats or extra luggage).

5.2 Changes to Services

If users request additional services or upgrades, costs will be recalculated based on the applicable pricing. For hourly bookings, charges are rounded up to the next half-hour.

5.3 Payment Methods

Payments can be made via credit card or bank transfer. Credit card fees are borne by County Chauffeurs, while users bear bank transfer fees.

6. Liability

6.1 General Liability

County Chauffeurs is liable only for damages caused by intentional or grossly negligent acts. TSPs and their drivers are not agents of County Chauffeurs.

For damages caused by simple negligence, liability is limited to material breaches and foreseeable damages. Liability for personal injury or statutory rights remains unaffected.

7. Changes to Services

County Chauffeurs reserves the right to modify its platform or services to improve quality. Services may also be discontinued for valid reasons without prior notice.

8. Copyright and Usage Rights

The content of County Chauffeurs Tools is copyright-protected. Users are granted a revocable license to use the platform for its intended purpose. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution is prohibited.

9. Final Provisions

9.1 Entire Agreement

These T&Cs constitute the entire agreement between County Chauffeurs and the user. Amendments must be made in writing.

9.2 Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These T&Cs are governed by the laws of [Insert Jurisdiction]. Exclusive jurisdiction lies with the courts of [Insert City/Region].

9.3 Severability

If any provision is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain enforceable.
